28 Years Later: The Bone Temple


Fans of horror-thriller film around the globe was full of excitement as the 28 Years Later was finally making its way to the big screen. Directed once again by Danny Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland original creator are back to the nightmare once again. The reunion excites the horror-thriller fans, because it means new film with the same vision, suspense, and hyper realism that made the movie more terrifying. New cast members will join the rage and bring more terrifying energy in the franchise.

The movie 28 Years Later continues the chilling story about the survival against the Rage virus that turns people to a bloodthirsty creature. This time it's not just escaping the virus, but facing the reality of what humanity has become for nearly three decades after the rage virus has spread.

The events event takes place twenty eight later after the outbreak of Rage virus. In real life, the release comes for nearly two decades after the 28 Days Later premiered in 2002. It means the fans have been waiting for this chapter almost as long as the survivors in the movie.

The setting once set again to United Kingdom though it's looks far from London, but it's not the London we saw in the earlier films, the landscapes here shows us landscape shaped by collapse, and survival some parts turns into ruins and battle ground. Each place tells a story how the people struggle in desperation and loss.

But why now? Why bringing the Rage virus back after so many years? Because the story was never truly ended in 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Left. The question that still wandering around: Can humanity after the near-total destruction can trust survive in a broken world? What the rage virus isn't something that we can cure, but the something that we can never escape.

The influence of 28 franchise is very undeniable. wave of zombie movie theme, games and interesting plots. Now with this long awaited chapter of the story set to push even further seing how far humanity has reach and how far it can still go.

28 Years Later is more than a sequel, it's the return of nightmare that shape the modern horror and a reminder that fears never die they only wait.
