P-pop’s Newest Boy Group WRIVE Finally Makes Its Debut
The group containing five members are so ready to reach their dreams.
WRIVE has their double-title debut offering, “Ooh La La” and “Señorita,”. A Sign of being the ABS-CBN newest Filipino boy group.
Members like Asi, Drei, Ishiro, Mathew, and Russu, has signed under ABS-CBN’s talent management, Polaris-Star Magic and premier record label Star Music. All the members are part of a survival show “Dream Maker” in 2022.
WRIVE, also pronounced as ‘rayv’, is obtained by the wording "we have arrived" which symbolizes the solidarity of the members for their dreams.
The track "Ooh la la" means the want of escaping reality with someone you love. It also aims to win the heart of the person you truly hope for. Produced by the ABS-CBN, and was composed by ALAS and Jeremy G. “Ooh La La's ” music video will be premiered on Thursday (July 17), 8pm on ABS-CBN Star Music YouTube channel.
There are two songs that will be released later this year. It will be a huge part of the P-pop groups debut album, and the boy group will also have a special performance in the upcoming Star Magic All-Star Games 2025 in Araneta Coliseum this July 20 (Sunday).
