Alice In Borderland Upcoming Season 3
Netflix has officially confirmed Season 3 will premiere globally on September 25, 2025, across all regions including the Philippines. It was renewed in September 2023, but the exact premiere date was announced later in early July 2025.
Season 3 introduces the Joker stage, which may go beyond traditional games and lean into existential and psychological trials possibly diverging meaningfully from the original manga.
The season picks up after Arisu and Usagi, the main leads, escaped Borderland, got married, and tried to live a normal life but haunting and blurred memories continue. Usagi mysteriously disappears, prompting Arisu to return to Borderland when Banda, the protagonist,
hands him the final Joker card.
Moreover, this season is expected to dive deeper into psychological tension, memory manipulation, unclearness and reality represented metaphorically through the Joker. The Joker card, teased in Season 2’s finale, is speculated to be either a symbolic culmination or a new antagonist/supernatural figure. Since the main manga has concluded, the show may deviate or build on spin-off material like Alice in Borderland Retry, interpreting it with its own creative direction.
